Hello! Welcome once again to Profound Sound.  I thought it would be a good idea to add a page about who we are and a brief history of our services.

My name is Dave and my wife is Linda.  My mobile DJ career began back in the early 90's after a met a guy who called himself "Eddy P" of Right Action Productions.  Eddy and I hit it off right away and it wasn't long before I was helping him with gigs by setting up equipment and taking requests.  Eddy had a young lady working with him who ran his second system and after she decided to move on to other things, he asked me to take her spot.

At first I worked mostly in the Cleveland / Akron area at clubs and private parties.  Eddy had a booking agent who was located in Cleveland, so most of the work was in that area.  Occasionally Eddy would send me to do a wedding and that soon became my favorite type of gig to do.

In 1995 Eddy sent me to do a wedding at Springwood Lake Camp Club.  Well, it was there that I met Linda, my wife to be.  She began to go with me to gigs and weddings soon became her favorite type of event also.  We both loved being around the family setting of weddings and it was also very rewarding to provide a service to people on such a happy occasion.

The year of 1996 was the beginning of Profound Sound DJ Service.  I asked Eddy to sell the system I used when I worked with him so that I could go out on my own.  I had an idea to provide a more "custom" service to people instead of just putting on a show.  Eddy graciously agreed to sell the equipment to me and I went off to start Profound Sound.  There is a story behind the name but it is too long to write in here.

As I said earlier, Linda was going with me to gigs and she soon began to offer wedding cakes to couples that called for a DJ.  Linda had worked for different bakeries in the area doing wedding cakes for many years before I met her.  Seeing the cakes at the weddings we went to, re-kindled her love for cake decorating.  Our one service had now grown into two and Linda was also learning the "ropes" of being a mobile DJ herself.

Soon after all this we introduced Linda's son Josh to our business and trained him to be a mobile DJ as well.  We built a third system for Josh and he began to cover most of our club events and private parties.  Those were busy years!  Josh only worked with us for a couple of years and then he moved on to a full time career that didn't allow him the free weekends to DJ.

It was during this transition that Linda was also re-introduced to another passion of hers.  She met a photographer at a wedding she played music at and soon was taking photography lessons to brush up on her love of taking pictures.  We sold most of the third DJ system equipment and purchased more camera equipment... our third service was born!  She called her service, Angels Touch Photography Service.

It is through all this that we now are able to provide three services for wedding receptions.  At first we called it Profound Sound Music and Wedding Services but just this past year (2005) we decided to change the name to Angels Touch Wedding Services.  Profound Sound is still the name of the DJ service but we decided on Angels Touch Wedding Services because of the listing in the yellow pages. (A is before P!)

Well... if you stayed with me this long, I thank you for taking the time to read all of this!  It may sound corny but Linda and I really like to get to know our clients and we like them to know us.  We believe personal service is better service.
